DV2400 - DES NOTRE ARRIVEE AU MONDE... by Midi Prats, 5 track mini-album [31:23]

It's Autumn 1993 and the realm of electronic dance-oriented music expands rapidly. Oberst Gregor & Ingo Anhenn [DV1200], who were already allied in musical action, established a new recording outfit to realize their idea of groovy, hypnotic yet utterly obscure underground disco music. Signature marks of their sound are tripped-out guitars, ultradeep and mighty basses, spacy synths and beatbox rhythms; all processed heavily by various effects and thus creating a cosmic atmosphere with Ingo's vocals providing the surrealistic message.

This is DV2400, the mini-album by MIDI PRATS named "Des notre arrivée au monde nous avons pense à nous evader". Its five tracks were recorded during the winter of 1993 / 1994 and have been remastered for this release in Spring 2006 to sound better than ever. MIDI PRATS were short-lived but intense and tracks like "L'Apres-Midi d'un Escalier" or "Golden Dawn" make clear that the impellent force behind this music was an idealized and transbordering vision of music to dance to... It's 90's Disco-not-Disco!

Concerning the cosmic factor of "Des notre arrivée..." Ingo and Gregor were far ahead of their time and DV may once again claim to supply you, the listener, not only with great artists of our time but likewise with hot stuff from the past.
