Voilà, GREGOR ET LES COMPLIMENTS [DV1900] present the results of a special summit that was held in Brompont, France in January 2005. The aim was to do new versions of two songs by French superband LILI DROP and since it was done with a loving attitude towards the originals you can expect an exciting approach to the works of one of France's coolest bands.

Both were recorded on a weekend in a simpatico garage-studio; the final mixing was done in Germany and in France simultaneously for having two individual versions of each song as the output. Vocals, bass, guitar, drums and percussion were used to recreate the two tracks that originally have been published in 1982.

The project was authorized by Lili Drop's lead singer and main songwriter Olive and as far as our knowledge goes this is the first time that their music has been covered. We encourage you to read the full story of how this came to life. It is available in French and in English.
